Progressive Blackjack is based on standard Blackjack, and has a side bet that makes you eligible for additional payouts, one of which is the Progressive Jackpot. To play the Progressive Jackpot you need to be a Real Account user.
During a game of Progressive Blackjack, cards are dealt from a 5-deck shoe which is effectively shuffled after each round. Traditionally, a shoe may contain one standard 52-card deck to six such decks. Since this version of Progressive Blackjack is played with a 5-deck shoe, you have the best possible chance of winning.
The side bet is a compulsory bet that makes you eligible for additional payouts, one of which is the Progressive Jackpot. The side bet is fixed at one credit. The side bet area is above the main bet area, and is marked with Jackpot. The side bet feature is explained in the section Triple Sevens Blackjack.
Once you have placed your bet in the main bet area and clicked the Deal button, you will be dealt two cards and the dealer one card.
The object of Blackjack is to obtain a hand with the highest possible value without exceeding 21. All face cards - Kings, Queens and Jacks, have a value of 10. Aces can have a value of either 1 or 11.
If your initial two cards do not total 21 you may request additional cards. This is called a hit. If your hand exceeds 21, you will go bust. If you choose to hit, but your hand still does not equal 21, you may request additional cards until you reach 21 or go bust. You can keep your hand by choosing to stay. If you are dealt a Blackjack - an Ace and a card with a value of 10, the dealer will automatically lose. However, if the dealer's single card is an Ace or a card with a value of 10, the dealer will draw another card to try match your Blackjack. If the dealer's two cards do not match your hand, he will not be allowed to draw further cards.
If you go bust the game is over and the dealer wins. If you reach 21 or choose to stay the dealer will draw another card. If the dealer's hand is less than 17 in value, he will continue to draw cards until his hand value equals 17 or more. If the dealer does not go bust, the value of the dealer and your hands are then compared. If your hand is a higher value than the dealer's, the Casino will pay you twice the amount you originally wagered. If you win on Blackjack you will be paid out 2.5 times your original wager.
Note: Progressive Blackjack can only be played by Real Account users in a supported currency. Guest Account users cannot play Progressive Blackjack.
